Part 2 of 2: Student Mental Health Seminar
In a recent survey titled "Global Youth Culture," over 8,300 U.S. teens were asked questions about their mental health, and the results were staggering: 2 out of every 3 teens reported struggling with loneliness, depression, anxiety, and more.
The world is not the same place that the parents of today grew up in. When the question "How do I know it's the right time to get my child help through counseling?" comes up, professionals in the mental health field agree: "We have actually found that one of the most effective things is when we can equip parents with the tools to help their kids, right in their own home.”
Whether you are currently raising a teen in your home, have kids coming swiftly to that age, or are a loving, involved adult in the life of a teen, this 2-part seminar is for you. Our Trinity Student and Parent Ministry Team has partnered with Willowdale Counseling Center of Nashua, whose experts will be bringing invaluable information to the table on recognizing mental health struggles and knowing what do to help.
Childcare is provided, as well as a teen program that will run parallel during this time. Please reach out to Pastor of Student Ministries, Shawn Allen, if you have any questions.
*This is a 2-part seminar; different and continuing information will be presented on the second date*
